The phrase "hands meet in front of each other" will be one of the routines, but it's clear that there's a rising faith and need to be face-to-face with people. However, Rotary has changed. Rotary network helps to create long-lasting friendships. We've honed our methods of holding meeting online for business while introducing activities for service and social in a safe face-to-face format. In order to build an improved future for Rotary We have seized the opportunities of the pandemic as well as our traditional practices. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business as usual" activities. During the summer the majority of Rotary members have been out in the public, focusing their attention on a variety of initiatives, including beach and river cleanings and litter pick-ups. It is amazing that our Rotary members have managed to find innovative and creative solutions to the biggest challenges. This is the reason I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to be a part of Rotary at the age of 22 in. Rotary along with many others has given me an extensive network of individuals who are committed to my ideals and with whom I've formed genuine friendships in the last 20 years.
